- The focus of this role is to support EMENA Digital Manager(s) for a specific product category (e.g. Infant Nutrition, Food, Dairy…) at Nestlé to drive the creation and implementation of their holistic Search strategy across the EMENA region and help local brand teams accelerate in Search to achieve their business objectives and KPIs more effectively and efficiently.
A day in the life of...
- The Search Manager supports the EMENA Digital Manager(s) in developing/implementing the Search strategy for their product category across all markets in the region, assesses holistic search performance against the plan and KPIs, and drives improvements through local search agency and brand teams.
Regularly connects with category global, regional and local teams to understand business priorities, campaign requirements, and provides support to search agencies. Establishes and rolls out a governance model and processes with the aim of deploying the category Search strategy effectively and efficiently in a complex organisation.
Manages local search agencies in order to maximize effectiveness of SEO, Paid Search, Search on eRetail websites and in Voice search. Oversees the creation, performance and optimization of all SEO/SEM campaigns across Search Engines, eRetailers, digital platforms and for Voice Search.
Supports local brand teams with capability building across Search holistically through training sessions, workshops, webinars and written guidelines.
Regularly connects with other key stakeholders including Nestlé global search strategy, technical and service teams, partner teams at Google, Amazon and with search technology providers. Takes ownership of a specific area of Search that they are passioned about, develops an in-depth understanding and becomes the go-to person for this at Nestlé.
What will make you successful
- More than 5 years in digital marketing, focused on Search marketing and working with FMCG brands globally or in a region such as EMENA.
Proven Search experience managing Search Engine Optimisation, Paid Search, and Search on eRetail websites, preferably as Search Account Director in agency but not essential.
Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English: writing, reading, speaking. Working knowledge of other European languages such as French, German, Spanish or Italian will be a key advantage.
Proven strong change and project management experience, successfully delivered on challenging KPIs, especially top and bottom-line business results.
Proven team-oriented mentality and attitude.
Must be able to deal with complex organizational model and several stakeholders.
